The GBC Tech Training Experience: What it’s like to be a Student in our Programs

Taking an online training program is a new experience for most of our students. How do I access the content of the program, how do I take an exam, or how do I interact with the college are typical examples of the kinds of questions that run through a student`s mind.

Program: Robotics Technician

With the assistance of his company’s tuition reimbursement policy Travis enrolled in the Robotics Technician Certificate program because it was online and allowed him to work at his own pace. In addition to the program flexibility, he especially liked the simulator as “it provided “real-world” experience.”

Travis is a Project Engineer designing and installing new equipment and has had the opportunity to apply his new learning on the job. “I am currently in the process of working with several integrators to install robotics systems.
